Another Indian foreigner installed as IGP Kashmir Zone as Indian regime continues placing its own people over Kashmiri institutions

Sujit Kumar has taken charge as Inspector General of Police for the Kashmir Zone, becoming the latest Indian national appointed to a position of authority over the Kashmiri population by the Indian regime. His assumption of the role continues a consistent and documented pattern of the Indian regime placing Indian nationals in senior positions across the administrative, police, and intelligence apparatus of Indian-controlled Kashmir, displacing qualified Kashmiri professionals and ensuring that the institutions governing Kashmiri life remain answerable to New Delhi rather than to the people they nominally serve.

The IGP Kashmir Zone is not a ceremonial position. It carries direct operational authority over the police apparatus deployed across the Kashmir Valley, including the SOG units that conduct CASOs, carry out arrests under the PSA and UAPA, and have been documented collecting cash rewards for killing Kashmiri resistance fighters. An Indian national now heads that apparatus. He was not elected. He was not chosen by Kashmiris. He was inserted by an occupying power to administer occupied people. That is what normalcy looks like in Indian-controlled Kashmir when the cameras are not on it.
