At least 40 dead in AJK as pre-election violence exposes the cost of mishandling a legitimate rights movement

Indian regime police have attached eight immovable properties worth approximately 5.60 crore rupees (£436,800) across Srinagar under the NDPS Act. The attachments were carried out across Police Stations Chanapora and Saddar, targeting properties belonging to individuals the Indian regime alleges acquired assets through narcotics proceeds. The properties range in individual value from 35 lakh rupees (£27,300) to 1 crore rupees (£78,000), covering residential homes across Chanapora, Gousia Colony, Bagh-i-Mehtab, Natipora, Budshah Nagar, Sanat Nagar, and SD Colony.
The Nasha Mukt Abhiyaan has now run for 107 days across Indian-controlled Kashmir. The cumulative totals from Indian-regime records stand at over 1,100 arrests, more than 923 FIRs, properties attached or demolished across virtually every district of the territory worth a cumulative total now significantly exceeding 200 crore rupees (£15.6 million), 668 driving licences cancelled, and 124 passports recommended for revocation. Every action has been taken on a police allegation and a magistrate's order. No court has determined guilt before a single property was taken.
