BJP accuses NC and PDP of reviving "separatism". These are the parties that persecuted "separatists" on India's behalf.

The BJP has issued a statement alleging that the National Conference and Peoples Democratic Party are attempting to revive "separatist" ideology in Indian-controlled Kashmir, citing their public demands for the restoration of Article 370, statehood, and the release of political prisoners as evidence of this alleged revival.
Kashmir Conflict states the irony plainly. The BJP is accusing the NC and PDP of reviving the very politics that the NC and PDP spent decades suppressing on India's behalf. These are the parties that governed Indian-controlled Kashmir under Indian-regime authority, that participated in elections the resistance called boycotts of, that lent the occupation the democratic veneer it required to present itself internationally as a functioning polity, and that cooperated with the Indian regime's systematic persecution, imprisonment, and political elimination of genuine Kashmiri resistance voices. The NC and PDP did not protect "separatists". They helped criminalise them.
That the BJP now turns on these same parties for making even the mildest demands within the Indian constitutional framework confirms the dynamic Kashmir Conflict has always stated: India's installed political class in Kashmir has no floor below which it cannot be accused of disloyalty. The NC and PDP are being called separatists for asking for statehood from Delhi. They are not separatists. They are the collaborators the BJP no longer needs to be diplomatic with. And the true face of Kashmir, the one that has always existed beneath every election and every administration these parties have conducted, remains exactly what it has always been: a people who did not consent to this occupation and have never stopped saying so.
