Eight CRPF and police personnel injured in South Kashmir vehicle rollover as CRPF officer dies in Handwara

Eight CRPF and police personnel were injured after their bunker vehicle rolled down in South Kashmir, sustaining varying degrees of injury and requiring medical transfer. In a separate incident, a CRPF Head Constable died after falling unconscious at the District Police Lines in Handwara, Kupwara district, and was declared dead upon arrival at hospital.
Two more Indian forces personnel dead or seriously injured within days of each other, in non-combat incidents, added to an already extensive list of 2026 casualties among Indian forces across Indian-controlled Kashmir that includes suicides, vehicle accidents, falls, collapses on duty, and unexplained deaths in barracks. The Indian regime presents itself as a modern, capable military power administering a normalising territory. Its personnel keep dying in the field in circumstances that have nothing to do with resistance operations. That is not the image of a capable occupying force. It is the image of an overstretched one, sending men into difficult terrain and difficult conditions and losing them to the occupation itself.
