Indian forces claim discovery of two aged hideouts across Kashmir as dated finds are presented as operational successes

Indian forces have announced the discovery of at least two abandoned hideouts across different areas of Indian-controlled Kashmir over the past 48 hours. The Indian regime states that one hideout yielded food supplies and other materials consistent with previous habitation, while a second produced a quantity of arms and ammunition. CASOs have been launched across surrounding areas in connection with both discoveries.
Kashmir Conflict applies its standing assessment to both claims. Neither find has been independently verified. The Indian regime has a documented history of staging weapons recoveries and presenting aged or abandoned materials as evidence of active, current resistance presence in an area. Abandoned hideouts containing food and old equipment are a legacy of decades of resistance activity across Kashmir's forest and mountain terrain, not necessarily evidence of current operational presence. The arms cache requires more specific detail before its significance can be assessed. What the Indian regime presents as a breakthrough is consistently more modest than its announcements imply.
