Indian regime demolishes shops in Jammu's Sabzi Mandi sparking protests as livelihoods are destroyed without warning

Indian regime authorities demolished a significant number of shops and commercial structures in the Sabzi Mandi area of Jammu city, citing anti-encroachment grounds. The demolitions were carried out without adequate notice, leaving traders and shopkeepers without their livelihoods and prompting immediate protests from affected communities who gathered to condemn the destruction of commercial premises that had sustained families for years.
The Indian regime alleges the demolished structures were illegal encroachments on public land. Traders and local residents state they were given no meaningful opportunity to contest the allegations or seek legal remedy before the demolitions began. The protests that followed the Sabzi Mandi demolitions reflect the same anger seen in Sidhra, in Batamaloo, in Rainawari, and across every district where the Indian regime's bulldozer has arrived without due process and departed leaving families without homes or income. The method is consistent because the purpose is consistent: remove Kashmiris and Jammu residents from commercial and residential land under legal cover, without a court first confirming the justification.
