Indian regime seizes Kashmiri family home in Budgam worth 4 crore rupees (£312,000) under anti-drug campaign

Indian regime forces have attached a residential property worth approximately 4 crore rupees (£312,000) belonging to a Kashmiri family in Budgam district under the Nasha Mukt Abhiyaan, alleging the home was acquired through narcotics proceeds. The attachment has been carried out under NDPS Act provisions on the basis of a police allegation and a magistrate's order, without prior judicial determination of guilt.
Budgam has seen multiple rounds of property seizures under the campaign. At 4 crore rupees (£312,000), this attachment is among the larger single residential property seizures recorded under the campaign in the district. A Kashmiri family has lost a home worth over three hundred thousand pounds today on the word of police alone. The Nasha Mukt Abhiyaan has now been running for over 110 days. The cumulative total of properties seized or demolished across Indian-controlled Kashmir continues to grow well past 200 crore rupees (£15.6 million). The accountability framework governing these actions remains what it has always been: nonexistent.
