Indian regime seizes Kashmiri family's two-storey home in Budgam under NDPS Act as campaign of dispossession passes 130 days

Indian regime police have attached a two-storey residential property belonging to a Kashmiri family in Budgam district under the Nasha Mukt Abhiyaan, alleging the home was acquired through narcotics proceeds. The attachment has been carried out on the basis of a police allegation and a magistrate's order, with no prior judicial determination of guilt required before the family's home was taken.
The Nasha Mukt Abhiyaan has now been running for over 130 days across Indian-controlled Kashmir. Properties have been seized, attached, or demolished across virtually every district of the territory. The cumulative total of assets taken from Kashmiri families without a court first determining their guilt has long exceeded 200 crore rupees (£15.6 million). Budgam adds another family to a list that grows daily. Another home gone. Another family's material foundation stripped away on a police allegation. The campaign does not require a conviction. It never has. It only requires the law the Indian regime designed to function exactly this way.
