Indian forces allege that one Kashmiri resistance fighter has been killed during the ongoing operation in the upper reaches of Yousmarg on the Pir Panjal mountain range, with arms and ammunition recovered from the site. The Indian regime further alleges that an unspecified number of additional resistance fighters remain surrounded within the operational cordon. The operation is continuing at the time of reporting.

The location demands continued scrutiny. Yousmarg has been sealed from civilian and media access since at least 2025, with the closure linked by sources to a covert India-Israel joint military project in the area. That the resistance has now engaged Indian forces within this sealed zone, and that an operation of this scale is unfolding in an area the Indian regime has gone to considerable lengths to keep out of public view, is not incidental. What is being protected in Yousmarg, and why the resistance has chosen to operate there, are questions the Indian regime has no interest in answering.
