SIA raids five locations in Poonch and Udhampur as investigation sweeps extend across the Jammu region

The State Investigation Agency's Jammu unit conducted searches at five locations across Poonch and Udhampur districts on 11 September 2026, seizing electronic devices, documents, and personal materials during operations targeting individuals with alleged resistance connections. No formal charges have been confirmed and no arrests have been announced in connection with the specific searches at this stage.
The SIA has conducted raids across Poonch and Udhampur repeatedly throughout 2026, with the Jammu region's districts coming under increasing investigative focus alongside the sustained military operations, CASO launches, and intelligence sweeps that have characterised the entire belt from Rajouri through to Kathua this year. The expansion of SIA activity into Poonch and Udhampur simultaneously with NIA sweeps across the Valley reflects the Indian regime's attempt to maintain intelligence dominance across a territory where the resistance has proven consistently capable of operating faster than the surveillance apparatus designed to contain it.
