Northern Army Commander visits South Kashmir to call for operational dominance as review cycle continues to substitute for results
ALLNEWS

Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma visited South Kashmir on 27 August 2026, reviewing the security environment and operational preparedness of deployed troops, receiving briefings on evolving security dynamics, and directing forces to remain proactive, adaptive, and mission-ready to sustain operational dominance. He praised troops for their professionalism and indomitable spirit.
Kashmir Conflict states what this visit is. It is the latest in a sustained cycle of senior command reviews conducted across Indian-controlled Kashmir throughout 2026, covering the Pir Panjal, the LoC, the Siachen sector, South Kashmir, and now South Kashmir again. Each review produces identical language: evolving threats, operational readiness, proactive posture. None has produced the resolution the Indian regime cannot articulate because it does not have one. The resistance in South Kashmir has not been suppressed by the previous reviews. It will not be suppressed by this one. The Northern Commander's visit is a performance of control over a situation that, documented across the entirety of 2026, is not under control.
