Pakistani military shoots down Indian surveillance drone in Nakyal sector as LoC aerial activity escalates on both sides
ALLNEWS

Pakistani military forces have shot down what they state was an Indian surveillance drone in the Nakyal sector along the Line of Control, using drone jamming technology to bring the aircraft down. The incident has been reported by Pakistani sources. The Indian regime has not confirmed the loss of a drone in the sector.
Simultaneously, Indian forces allege they sighted a Pakistani drone in the Hiranagar area along the international border in Kathua district, subsequently launching a search operation across the area. No recovery or interception has been confirmed on the Indian side.
Two drone incidents along the same frontier within the same period, one confirmed by Pakistan and one alleged by India, reflect the accelerating aerial dimension of LoC tensions that Kashmir Conflict has been tracking across recent weeks. These incidents sit within a broader pattern: Indian military build-up, forced civilian evacuations in Kupwara, senior command reviews across forward positions, Chinese and Turkish military hardware moving into Pakistan, and now drone activity along the LoC being actively contested by both sides. The frontier is not quiet. It has not been quiet for some time. Both states are watching the other's movements from the air. What they are preparing for on the ground is the question neither is yet answering publicly.
